Pre-School
Based in the early years provision of Minerva Primary Academy, our Pre-School is the perfect environment for children aged 3 and 4 to learn and play together.
We are passionate about supporting every child in their learning journey and giving them the best start in their early education. Through play-based learning we focus on the development of the whole child and are particularly passionate about supporting the development of speech and language skills as well as personal, social and emotional development.
Available sessions
We current offer:
- Monday – morning & afternoon sessions
- Tuesday – morning & afternoon sessions
- Wednesday – morning session
Please note, a packed lunch will need to be provided by parents
Timings are as follows:
- Monday & Tuesday – 9.00am – 3.00pm
- Wednesday – 9.00am – 12.00pm

Children aged three to four are entitled to 15 hours of free early years education.
There are three intakes during the year – September, November and January.
We will visit you and your child at home before your child starts with us in Pre-School. This is to allow you to ask any questions you have and to allow your child to meet us in an environment that is familiar to them.
