Young designers at Minerva Primary Academy showcase ingenious designs

Year Two pupils at Minerva Primary Academy have been putting their design skills to the test in a hands-on lesson that combined creativity and engineering.

Pupils explored how to create mechanisms, including pop-up images, fulcrums, and sliders, sparking their imaginations and developing practical skills.

A spokesperson for Minerva Primary Academy said: “We’re incredibly proud of how inventive and resourceful our Year Two pupils have been.

“Lessons like these are not just about building mechanisms but also about building confidence and inspiring a lifelong curiosity about how things work.”
