Pupils from Minerva explore the Clifton Suspension Bridge
Year 3 pupils from Minerva Primary Academy recently enjoyed an inspiring and educational trip to the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge.
During their visit, the pupils discovered fascinating details about the bridge’s construction and learned about the essential work involved in maintaining this historic landmark.
Guided by experts, pupils were captivated by stories of its design and the engineering marvel that it represents.
They also took on a hands-on challenge to build their own bridges.
This interactive activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the principles behind bridge engineering.
