Pupils embark on a forest adventure at Minerva Primary Academy
Year 1 pupils at Minerva Primary Academy ventured out into the crisp autumn air during an engaging ‘Wonderful World’ session led by Hazelnut Community in the school’s forest skills area.
The day was filled with curiosity, discovery, and hands-on learning as they explored nature in all its seasonal glory.
During the session, the young adventurers delved into the world of insects and habitats, uncovering the fascinating ecosystems thriving around them.
They also tapped into their creativity by crafting leaf crowns from fallen leaves.
Additionally, pupils learned about cycles of change in nature and the migration of animals, creating an understanding about the wonders of the natural world.
A spokesperson from Minerva Primary Academy said: “Seeing pupils faces light up as they explored nature was truly inspiring.
This session wasn’t just about learning but gaining an appreciation for the environment.
“We’re so grateful to Hazelnut Community for creating such a memorable experience for our pupils.”
