MPA Pupils Collaborate During Peer Work

Westbury Class at Minerva Primary Academy have been working together in an exciting initiative to improve their writing through peer editing. The pupils have embraced the practice of being “kindly constructive” as they review and provide feedback on each other’s first drafts.

This collaborative approach encourages students to offer suggestions on how their peers can enhance their writing, encouraging a supportive environment for learning and growth.

By focusing on constructive feedback, students are building important skills not only in writing but also in critical thinking and communication.

A spokesperson said: “Minerva Primary Academy is proud to see its pupils’ taking responsibility for their learning in such a positive and cooperative manner. The peer editing process is helping students to reflect on their own work while also learning to give and receive feedback in a respectful and productive way.”
