Minerva pupils enjoy day at Bristol Zoo Project

Year 2 pupils from Minerva Primary Academy recently spent a memorable day at the Bristol Zoo Project, enjoying a hands-on learning experience filled with exciting animal encounters and fascinating discoveries.

During their visit, pupils explored the diverse range of animals at the zoo, learning about their natural habitats and the unique environments they need to thrive.

From observing majestic giraffes to discovering curious facts about exotic creatures, pupils had a wonderful opportunity to connect their classroom learning with real-world experiences.

One particularly surprising fact that caught the pupils’ attention was that a giraffe’s tongue can reach up to 45cm in length.

A spokesperson for Minerva Primary Academy said: “Our trip to the Bristol Zoo Project was an incredible learning experience for our pupils.

“It was fantastic to see them so engaged and curious about the animals and their habitats.

“Experiences like this help to inspire our pupils and deepen their understanding of the world around them.”
