Minerva Primary Academy Reception pupils celebrate Diwali

Reception pupils at Minerva Primary Academy have been engaged in the vibrant traditions of Diwali, the Festival of Lights.

Pupils enjoyed hands-on activities to learn about this cultural celebration, marking the occasion by creating beautiful, personalised decorations.

As part of their learning, they explored Diwali’s significance, its traditions, and the spirit of togetherness it brings.

A spokesperson said: “We love helping our pupils learn about different cultures and traditions.

“Our Diwali activities allowed pupils to express their creativity while understanding the values of light, hope, and community that Diwali celebrates.”
