Minerva Primary celebrates pupils summer reading success

Pupils at Minerva Primary Academy have been celebrating their achievements after taking part in this year’s summer reading challenge.

Congratulations to all the children who successfully completed the challenge by reading six books over the summer. Their commitment to reading is a fantastic achievement and highlights the importance of developing a lifelong love of books and reading.

Reading for pleasure plays an important role in children’s development. As well as supporting lifelong learning, regular reading helps children to build their vocabulary, develop their imagination and broaden their understanding of the world around them.

The academy would also like to thank all parents and carers for their continued support in encouraging children to read and for helping them visit the library and borrow books.
