Bristol School streets with effect from 5th September 2022
The School Street scheme outside Minerva Primary Academy will start on 5th September 2022, immediately after the school summer holidays.
The primary aim of the scheme is to make the area outside the school safer for pupils walking, cycling and scooting by reducing vehicle movement at the times pupils arrive and leave school.
A section of The Greenway (between Hillfields Avenue and Summerleaze) and a section of Cherrytree Crescent (between The Greenway and its junction with Cherrytree Road) will be closed to non-essential vehicles from 8.15am to 9am and 2.45pm to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, during term-time only.
